Summary
Healthy human subjects were given 2 or 3 hourly intravenous injections of secretin. In some of the experiments insulin was given intravenously during the course of the pancreatic secretion evoked by the secretin. It was found that during insulin hypoglycemia the concentration and output of pancreatic enzymes was increased but that the volume of secretion was not influenced.
