Summary
Chicks fed a tryptophan deficient purified diet exhibited certain abnormalities when examined histologically. These were an enlargement and erosion of the gall bladder, edematous swelling of the seminiferous tubules, degeneration of spleen cells and a decrease in the diameter of the muscle fibers.
