Summary
N 1 -methylnicotinamide labeled in the methyl group with deuterium was fed to two rats for 6 days. Analysis of the body choline and creatine of these rats for deuterium showed that there was no detectable transmethylation from N 1 -methylnicotinamide to choline or creatine during this period.
