Summary
The chemotherapeutic action of sulfadiazine on psittacosis virus (strain 6BC) is antagonized competitively by p-aminobenzoic aoid and noncompetitively by pteroylglutamic acid. The implications of these findings 'with regard to the metabolic activities of this virus are discussed.
