Summary
A single, subcutaneous injection, in mice, of adrenal cortical extracts or of pituitary adrenotrophic hormone causes an appreciable rise in the serum peptidase level of these animals. It has been suggested that this increase in enzyme activity is a result of the acceleration, by the hormones of the adrenal cortex, of the rate of turnover of lymphoid tissue.
