Abstract
Conclusions
Influenza virus was rendered noninfectious for mice by in vitro exposure to relatively high concentrations of sulfur and nitrogen mustards. Concentrations of the mustards that abolished infectivity did not reduce the ability of the virus to agglutinate erythrocytes. The parenteral administration of nitrogen mustard had no effect on the course of infection with influenza virus in mice.
