Summary and Conclusions
Several Gramnegative and Gram-positive organisms resistant to sulfonamides, streptomycin and penicillin and the parent susceptible strains were tested in parallel for their susceptibility to furacin. No differences were observed be-t tween the resistant and susceptible strains in I regard to their susceptibility to furacin. Re-e sistance to penicillin, streptomycin or sul-5 fathiazole does not result in any change to furacin resistance.
