Summary
A simple, safe, and accurate method is described for the quantitative estimation of the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis based upon turbidimetric measurements in Dubos' medium.
This procedure can be applied to measuring the rate and amount of growth of M. tuberculosis in various media, as affected by the presence of streptomycin.
