The gonadotrophic potency of pituitary glands from croqsbred Lincoln X Kdmbouillet ewes was significantly higher than that of pituitaries from purebred Hdmpshire eneh. The gonadotrophic potency of glands irom both breed, increased markedly during a 90-day period folloning spaqing whether durinq the breeding season or during ane-trua.
