Abstract
Conclusions
The administration of concentrated human serum globulin to patients with scarlet fever appears to have no effect on their ability to form antistreptolysin. Treatment with penicillin results in a decrease in the number of persons capable of developing this antibody, and also in the quantity of antibody produced by those who show an increase in antistreptolysin titer.
