Summary
The murine SK strain of poliomyelitis virus was carried through 14 passages on developing eggs without evident diminution of virus content. Its multiplication was associated with a high incidence of deaths in the embryos. The incidence of deaths was influenced by the temperature at which the eggs were incubated after inoculation.†
