Summary
Streptomycin appears chemotherapeutically effective against pleuropneumonia infections and resultant polyarthritis in rats, and better in this respect than certain gold salts. The streptomycin which we used contained 250 units per mg, and was supplied by Dr. J. A. Leighty.
