Summary
The in vitro antibacterial effects of 3-, 5-, 6-, and 7-sulfanilamidoindazole against a variety of bacteria are presented. Data are also given to show that there is a several-thousand-fold decrease in the antagonism displayed by p-aminobenzoic acid against the sulfanilamidoindazoles as compared with its antagonism against sulfathiazole.
