Summary
F2 analyses have been made on the urine of normal young men who were maintained on controlled niacin intakes. The method of Najjar showed no difference in the F2 excretion of 2 groups whose intakes over a period of 161 days averaged 12.4 and 22.4 mg of niacin per day. There was no difference in the F2 excretion of 2 groups maintained for 32 days on intakes of 0.12 and 10.12 mg of niacin per day when the method of Huff and Perlzweig was used for the determination.
