In vitro Action of Penicillin Alone,and in Combination with Sulfathiazole,on Brucella Organisms

Conclusion

Penicillin exerted a considerable antibacterial action on 8 out of 15 strains, of Brucella in vitro. This action was enhanced by the combination of penicillin with a small amount of sodium sulfathiazole.
