Abstract
Conclusions
Neuromuscular regeneration was not appreciably affected by acute vitamin B-complex withdrawal. Excess intakes of these vitamins failed to enhance reinnervation and regeneration. The neuromuscular weakness of regenerating and non-denervated muscles of animals on B-deficient diets was of the order of that found in animals subjected to either acute inanition or food withdrawal and B supplements.
