Summary
Very small dosages of testosterone, administered intratesticularly to hypo-physectomized rats, cause a regional maintenance of spermatogenesis. These dosages are much less than those necessary for complete maintenance of the sexual accessory glands. Testosterone has a direct action on the testis in the maintenance of spermatogenesis.
