Abstract
Summary
Studies on 47 families with 133 children indicate that the major subtypes Rh1 and Rh2 are transmitted by means of corresponding allelic genes Rh1 and Rh2 which are both dominant over the gene rh; and, in addition, that gene Rh1 is dominant over Rh2. (A nomenclature for designating the subdivisions of the Rh positive type is proposed).
