Summary

Comparative data are presented on the solubilities of sulfadiazine, sulfamerizine and sulfamethazine and their N₄-aeetyl derivatives in buffer solutions at varying pH levels within the physiological range of urinary pH. The findings have been discussed briefly in reference to their possible bearing on renal complications from therapy with these drugs.
