Conclusions
It has been shown that a purified growth hormone preparation of the anterior pituitary which is practically free of lactogenic, adrenocorticotropic, thyrotropic, and gonadotropic hormones, produces a marked increase in glucose excretion in the sucrose-fed partially depancreatized rat.
