Summary
This report describes a method of producing and dressing open skin wounds so that a uniform standardly infected wound can be made for controlled topical chemo-therapy studies, with healing time by sec-ondary intention used as the main criterion of the effectiveness of the therapy. If desired, as described in the previous paper,1 histolog-ical studies of epithelization and granulation can be made on biopsied wounds, in addition to the determination of healing time.
