Abstract
Summary
Repeated mall doses of roentgen rays caused depression of the total leucocyte count, shift to the left in the neutrophile granulocyte line, occasional eosinophilia, and moderate anemia in the peripheral blood; hypoplasia and decrease in the myeloiderythroid ratio in the bone marrow; and no evidence of interference with the general activity of the experimental animals.
Drs. J. W. McMullen, R. R. Anderson, and E. J. Meister of the Department of Radiology kindly administered the irradiation in these experiments.
