Abstract
Summary
In 4 of 5 cases of coronary occlusion the cardiac output fell rapidly, reaching its lowest level between the second and third day. The output began to rise soon after the third day and maintained a relatively constant level after the tenth day. In the 2 hypertensive patients (Cases 1 and 2) the cardiac output rose in spite of the fact that the blood pressure remained low.
