Summary
1. At least 0.17 g of potassium per 100 g of diet was found necessary to secure approximately maximal growth of chicks under the conditions of these experiments. 2. More than 0.13 g of potassium per 100 g of diet was necessary to prevent heavy mortality. 3. Rubidium had a slight and only temporary alleviating effect on potassium deficiency.
