Abstract
Summary
1. Rat curative tests and rat prophylactic tests show that natural and synthetic B6 are identical in their physiological action. 2. A single dose of 50 micrograms of either natural or synthetic B6 is sufficient to cure severe symptoms of vitamin B6 deficiency in 70-80% of the test animals within 14 days. 3. Ten micrograms of vitamin B6 per rat per day is sufficient to produce practically normal growth.
