Abstract

Summary

1. Rat curative tests and rat prophylactic tests show that natural and synthetic B₆ are identical in their physiological action. 2. A single dose of 50 micrograms of either natural or synthetic B₆ is sufficient to cure severe symptoms of vitamin B₆ deficiency in 70-80% of the test animals within 14 days. 3. Ten micrograms of vitamin B₆ per rat per day is sufficient to produce practically normal growth.
