Abstract
Summary
This series of 11 cases shows us that sulfanilamide is excreted in the bile and that it may be concentrated considerably in the gallbladder. Further work is being done to see whether or not on account of the concentration of sulfanilamide in the gallbladder this drug might be of therapeutic value in the case of infected gallbladder.
We want to thank Drs. H. Necheles and D. Cohn for their help.
