Summary
The rates of respiration and aerobic glycolysis of exudate leucocytes reported by Fleischmann and Kubowitz have been confirmed. A method of measuring the respiration of leucocytes in serum is described. The respiratory rate of leucocytes in serum is greater than the rate in Ringer-phosphate solution.†
