Summary
Chronic riboflavin deficiency in rats is often accompanied by pediculosis. This disease has never been observed in rats manifesting symptoms of a deficiency of other factors of the vitamin B2 complex. Administration of riboflavin by mouth has a curative effect on this type of pediculosis in rats.
