Summary
We have confirmed our previous findings that rats receiving chronic treatment with active principles of the anterior lobes of the same species fail to become refractory. Under the conditions of the experiment an aqueous extract of acetone-desiccated hypophyses obtained by extraction with dilute sodium bicarbonate produced effects similar to those of implants of fresh anterior lobes.
