The principal products of 13 pathogenic yeasts (12 monilia and Cryptococcus Iiominis) in a buffered peptonemeat-extract medium, with 5% glucose, were ethyl alcohol and CO2. The yield of metabolic products was identical with that from 3 non-pathogenic yeasts.
