Conclusions
It may be concluded, then, that after insulin injection, (a) the blood inorganic phosphorus of rats decreases only on the high fat diet, (b) the other determined phosphorus fractions vary only slightly, (c) there does not appear to be a loss of phosphorus from the blood, and (d) there is a tendency for the organic phosphorus of the blood to increase.
