Summary
1. The fasting blood sugar of 50 men and 50 women was found to be between 70 and 95 mg. per 100 cc. of blood, with an average of 81.6 mg. %. 2. Capillary blood may properly be substituted for venous blood in determining the sugar of fasting individuals. Admixture of other tissue fluids does not modify the sugar content of finger blood.
