Abstract
Summary
The effect of heparin on the growth of four cell types cultivated in vitro has been investigated. The results suggest that heparin appears to have some growth promoting effects on prepuce cells, while it showed little effect on the growth of Novikoff hepatoma, monkey kidney and baby hamster kidney cells. Heparin reversed the inhibitory effect of prednisolone-21-sodium-succinate on the growth of prepuce and baby hamster kidney cells.
