Abstract
Summary
In an in vitro chemotactic assay using a modified Boyden chamber, the action of anti-inflammatory agents on eosinophilotaxis was studied. Hydrocortisone sodium succinate, methylprednisolone sodium succinate, and chloroquine hydrochloride induced a dose-related inhibition of migration of eosinophils to ECF-A and C5a, The inhibitory action appeared to be directly on the cells and it was not caused by lysis Of cells.
