Abstract
Summary
When antisera to RA synovial fibroblasts were reacted with synovial fluids in immunoelectrophoretic analyses, 90% of RA fluids gave a wing or extended precipi-tin arc pattern. In contrast, 38% of non-RA fluids gave the same types of patterns. The characteristics of the antigen are different from other previously reported synovial fluid components or antigens, and the antigen appears to be a glycoprotein.
