Abstract
Summary
A fluorodeoxyuridine-resistant Novikoff hepatoma cell line, which had been previously characterized as being thy-midine kinase deficient, was shown to have elevated levels of thymidylate synthetase. The thymidylate synthetase activity in the fluorodeoxyuridine-resistant cell line was sensitive to inhibition by FdUMP to the same extent as the fluorodeoxyuridine-sen-sitive cell line.
