Summary
The 11β-hydroxylation of deoxycorticosterone to form corticosterone in adrenal mitochondria has been found to be inhibited by ADP and ATP, with ADP being the more inhibitory of the two. The evidence suggests that the ADP directly affects the enzyme system.
