Summary
Two transplantable hepatic carcinomas of the hamster contained CELO virus-induced TSTA, confirming the etiological role of this avian adenovirus in the induction of hepatic tumors. Transplantation resistance could not be induced with oncogenic adenoviruses of human, simian, or canine origin.
