Summary

Improved fixation for immu-nofluorescence staining in the SV40 T-anti-gen test has been developed utilizing ethanol in place of acetone. The modified method improves resolution, results in smaller variability of cell numbers, and reduces the time of assay, while maintaining its sensitivity in discriminating between normal and cancer-prone groups.
