Summary
This paper describes in detail an ultra-micro double antibody assay that is capable of determining insulin in samples containing from .02 to 5.12 microunits (μU) of insulin; however, the assay is most sensitive for samples containing .04-2.56 microunits. This method compares favorably with the widely used double antibody procedure of Morgan and Lazarow (1).
