Abstract
Summary
The immune response to SRBC was studied in vivo and in vitro with NZB mice and several other normal mouse strains. In both situations the presence of passive anti-SRBC antibody, had a marked immunodepressive effect. Equal depression was observed with NZB or CBA antisera. The results negate the possibility that NZB hyper-responsiveness in vivo to SRBC is due to a failure in feedback inhibition.
