Abstract
Summary
Strain differences between two inbred strains of hamsters (CB/Ss LAK and MHA/Ss LAK) have been successfully demonstrated using mixed lymphocyte culture (MLC) reaction. The average stimulation ratio in a two-way MLC was found to be 6.1 when lymph node cells were used. The lymphocytes from spleen cells were also reactive in MLC. In the one-way stimulation test, lymphocytes from CB hamsters stimulated lymphocytes from MHA hamsters and vice versa.
