Abstract
Summary
Formalinized sheep erythrocytes, which retain their surface antigens but are resistant to lysis by antibody and complement, were used to link a suspension-centrifugation rosette assay with the monolayer plaque assay. This technique permitted screening of large cell populations for the identification and enumeration of antigen-binding cells, antibody-secreting cells, and cells which both bind antigen and secrete antibody.
