Rat liver microsomes isolated from rats pretreated orally with acetone or isopropanol possessed an enhanced capacity to bind 14CCl4 and 14CHCl3 covalently and to demethylate DMN. The N-demethylation of ethylmorphine was unchanged by this pretreatment.
