Abstract
Summary
Replication of herpes simplex virus in lymphocyte cultures stimulated by PWM, Con A, and ALG is compared with the replication of this virus in PHA-stimulated lymphocytes. The resulting virus titers are similar with all the mitogens tested and appear to be dependent on the amount of DNA synthesized by the cells rather than on blastogenesis.
