Summary
Uterine blood flow rate in 15 aged does average 18.6 ml/100 g tissue/min, and this was significantly lower than the average rate of 37.8 ml/100 g tissue/min in 20 younger does. It is concluded that reduced uterine blood flow rate is one component of the aging uterus which may decrease reproductive performance in aged rabbits.
