Summary
Administration of actinomycin D inhibits the cortisone-evoked increase of sucrase activity in the jejunum and ileum of suckling rats. An interpretation of the present study suggests that de novo protein synthesis was inhibited and prevented the cortisone-evoked increase of sucrase activity.
