Summary
Purification of transcobalamin II prepared from normal serum by DEAE-cellulose column chromatography and polyacryalmide gel electrophoresis resulted in aggregation of this vitamin B12 binder. Exposure of transcobalamin II to 8 M urea resulted in liberation of the vitamin and aggregation of the binder.
