Abstract
Summary
The effect of feeding a choline-deficient diet on the level of hepatic ATP was studied. Groups of rats were fed a cho-line-deficient or a choline-supplemented diet for 15 and 24 hr, and the level of hepatic ATP was found to be similar in rats fed the two regimens. A deficit of ATP does not appear to be a factor in the delayed intracellular transport of albumin observed in rats fed a choline-deficient diet.
