Abstract
Summary
The addition of trypsin main tained mouse bone collagenase activity in the presence of a concentration of serum which otherwise completely inhibited collagenase activity. The stoichiometry of the reaction and the fact that serum prepared free of trypsin inhibitors failed to inhibit collagenase activity, suggests that the component in serum which inhibits collagenase activity may be identical with that which inhibits trypsin activity.
